Spring Break Skincare Preparation…

While your travel plans are coming together and spring break fast approaching, here are some skin care tips to keep in mind.

Before you fly, cleanser your face with a soothing cleanser that does not contain harsh drying ingredients of glycolic, alcohol, or benzoyl peroxide. Tone your skin with a soothing toner to prep for your hydrating serums. Flying in recycled air and higher elevations levels, you need to increase epidermal hydration to reduce the drying effect. So, to look your best when you land at your destination, follow these steps. Then apply your makeup after you have landed to prevent it from further drying your skin during your flight.

If you feel that your skin in drying during flight, carry a hydration spray with you to prevent your skin from drying out and from instant skin comfort.

While packing for your travel destination, think about what type of climate you are heading to. For the ski vacation pack, hydrating products are essential for the cold weather, but also do not forget the sunscreen. For your beach trip, be prepared for your ski to potentially break out from the heat and your likelihood to sweat more. Try packing products from that will absorb oil and sweat, but not clog your pores.

When your travels are over, the best way to renew your skin and replace lost moisture, schedule your essential facial to deep clean and correct environmental factors. You will leave with your skin feeling better than ever!

*Next week’s blog will be on wax preparation for your beach trip.

Perhaps it is a friend, a celebrity or an activist. Whether the person is high-profile or not isn’t important. Their character and ability to inspire, guide, and teach carries much more value. This month let’s focus on the person who motivates you and thank them for their leadership. I would like you to share who inspires you?
