How Are You Doing On Your Resolutions or Goals?

January is coming to a close, how have your resolutions and/or goals going? Are you keeping up with them? Was it to lose weight, or maybe eat healthier? Perhaps you wanted to spend less money or spend more time with your friends and family? Whatever it is or was, it is not too late to get back on the bandwagon to start again. Just do it for 21 days, and it has become a habit. But why do so many of us fail at goal-setting? Are there secrets to help us succeed?

Beautiful Skin Starts from Within

On my logo, it says "Put Your Best Face Forward", well, that all starts from the inside out. Your skin gets the nutrients from the foods that you eat to look its best. Instead of covering a blemish or hydrating a dry patch, head them off entirely by eating good foods. A list of some of the foods and what they do are listed below: TOMATOES Tomatoes help your skin with the Lycopene, which is what makes them red, and helps your skin eliminate skin-aging free radicals caused by ultraviolet rays. Your body gains the most sun-shielding nutrients when the vegetable is heated.

Pre-Wedding Skin Care Tips (Part II)

This is the beauty from the outside, what about the inside?  Your skin reflects what you eat as well. I am not a nutritionist, however, drinking plenty of water and reducing your processed foods, prevents your skin from breakouts. Water, flushes away toxins that you may be contained in certain foods; it also helps hydrate your skin. The key to all of this, would be to start early with your skin care routine. In my experience, you do not want to start too late, in trying to get a good skincare routine shortly before your big day. Why, you may ask? Because many things can go wrong when you introduce wrong or harsh products...scarring, etc. you will have enough things on your mind, you do not want your skin to be one of them.

Pre-Wedding Skin Care Tips (Part I)

Are you still doing good with your resolutions/goals? Have you submitted them to enter in my drawing? If not, you still have time. 'Tis the height for engagement season. Are you newly engaged or have your wedding coming up this year, it doesn’t matter what wedding magazine or website you look at, they are telling you similar things to get the best wedding day look. My experience in the industry of makeup, in addition to being a Minnesota License Esthetician, I would like to share with you from my experience, when and how to get your skin in shape for your big day.

Resolutions and/or Goals

It has been a week since New Years, did you read last week's post with ideas? Did you make a resolution? Are you sticking with it? What is your resolution(s)? 2015 was an amazing year for me where my studio clients grew and did not quite have as many brides as the year before, but it was a good year. Took a trip to Los Angeles, that was a break to relax and just have fun. It marked my 1 year at my studio in October. I can only see 2016 being a better year than last, what exactly? I do not know, but I will be adding at least one, if not two new services to my menu by Spring. Follow my Facebook Page to keep up to date on the details, as well as specials and promotions, whether a daily promotion or a weekly promotion. I cannot wait to see what else 2016 will bring....(Click to read more.)
