Men's Skin, do you care for it different than women?

Just like women, men need to take care of their skin also, so they look good for those prom pictures and more importantly, their wedding pictures. Men, your partner has taken a lot of care in making sure that they will look great for that special day, why don't you do the same? Don't know where to start? April not only kicks off the Spring season, but also prom and the season filled with shrieks and cries from the newly engaged as mailboxes drown with Save the Date and bank accounts wither from bridesmaid expenses. Some are willing to acknowledge the coming onslaught of bridal showers and Pinterest Party favors. Yes, you guessed it, Weddings. You do not want to the DIY hair and makeup and find that you wished you hired a hair and makeup artist, when you get those pictures back and see that your face look shiny or you hair looks like it always does, but maybe curls, do you? Spring Cleaning...Your Makeup Bag

Last week I spoke about reassessing your skincare routine. This week I want to talk about reassessing your makeup bag. Spring and fall is when I reassess my makeup in my makeup bag. Why? There are several reason, which are listed below: To pick new colors for the season. Bacteria and germs gather from mixing powder colors and become dirty. There is a shelf life to makeup. What is the shelf life of your makeup? Powder based products: 2-3 year Liquid Foundation: up to 1 year Lipstick and Lip Gloss: 2 years Lip Liner: 1-2 years Mascara and Liquid Eyeliner: 2-3 months Pencil Eyeliner: 2-3 years Bottom line…when in doubt, throw it out! Why? So that you do not risk getting an infection. Some makeup’s have an obvious sign that they have gone bad, while others do not.
